This new plan for the layout of our bedroom and bathroom isn't much different from the original design of the 1999 mobile home. The main difference is the counter and sink extending now that we don't have a standing shower. We may not have a large bedroom, but honestly we're not in there much🤷‍♀️

Keeping the layout the same rather than moving the bathroom to my office on the other side of the wall will save us a TON of work, time and money. I'm happy with it and that's all that matters 💕

Highly recommend using the Planner 5D design app to get a visualized layout of the space your wanting to renovate whether you plan to DIY or hire the job out.

Our bathroom/bedroom remodel in our 1999 trailer home is a work in progress... very slow progress😅

We've got to shut the water off to the house and add shut off valves to each water line, 2 tub lines, 2 sink lines, 2 shower lines, 1 toilet line.

Also, I would never have guessed at how EXPENSIVE shark bite water turn off valves would be for 7 lines...

We have the entire subfloor as well as some drywall to replace. It's honestly overwhelming the amount of work that needs to be done😞

We also have the vent line to move... somehow, somewhere 🤷‍♀️

We are getting back in gear though and will hopefully have a new subfloor in our bedroom and bathroom! I'll be ready for the day we can actually use our bedroom and bathroom💕

It's coop cleanout day 🐓 🦆

I've swept out all of the shavings. Now, I'm letting it "air out" for a few hours before adding new shavings on the floor and in the nesting boxes.

I have noticed my hens have started to lay eggs on the shavings that are on the floor rather than in the nesting boxes🤔 I'm not a fan of that, I don't think I'll be adding near as much shavings to the floor this time.

How often do you clean out your coop?

Toby loves to go zoom 🐕 🏎

He followed us on our Saturday morning walk up the road. He sat and waited at the farmstand for us to be done. On our way back to the house, he still had some energy in him to zoom through the grass.

I love when he does this, it always gives me a good laugh🤣

POULTRY PEOPLE!

I've been without this small black cap for nearly a year now. I know I could buy a replacement pack, but they are very easy to loose! I'm wanting something with the same design so I can tie a string around it to attach it to the lid cap, that way both the big and little cap are tied together. I tried super gluing string to the small cap (before I lost it), but it wouldn't hold in the weather.

Do they even make a cap like I'm wanting?

Our 1st trunk or treat of the month was a great success! 🧙‍♀️🐈‍⬛️👻🎃

Thank you to all of you who support this page, this wouldn't have been possible without you!

Each kid got a bag of chips, a drink and a goody bag filled with glow sticks, a cow tail, a tattoo, gummies, and a pocket hug figurine. I was able to purchase enough items for 200 kids...

If I counted right, we had ~105 kids at the trunk or treat!

We still have 1 more trunk or treat coming up. Then of course we have Halloween trick or treating. I'm sure we will have all of the goody bags passed out by the end of the month!

Brooklyns costume is (from amazon) and we added a unicorn skeleton (from dollar tree).

My costume was mostly things I already had at home. I did purchase the witch hat (from amazon) and the dog skeleton (from dollar tree).

I think it turned out pretty witchy ✨️

My favorite house plant... but spooky✨️🔮

These tradescantia nanouk plants grow VERY fast and take minimal care (the only plant I have NEVER killed). They grow beautifully! You can either let them grow up a trellis or grow as a hanging plant (think waterfall).
