It's that time of year again everyone! This year Jimmy Bird and I will be taking the Polar Plunge together as a team🥶💙! We will be at Schenk Lake in Wheeling on January 31. We are "Team Bird". Let's get the donations going to help these kids and the Special Olympics! TIME.....it's precious, it's valuable, it's something no one seems to have enough of, so when you waste 3 hours of our precious, valuable time to be a NO SHOW for pick up, it's a bit irritating!!!

There are a few people that still need to pick up their deer meat! We will be at the shop today till 5:30 ish. You have until Sunday, January 11th to pick up your meat!!!!! After that, your meat will be donated to a needy family and if you have antlers, they will be discarded. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you don't have time to get your meat, then you don't have time to get your horns!!!! Have a nice day!

Just a few friendly reminders:
1. There are still capes that have not been picked up. Some have been here for weeks!!! On the top of our cut sheets it states you have 72 hours to pick them up from drop off or a storage fee will be charged. They are in our way, they need picked up immediately!!!
2. It also states on our cut sheets that we will call you once your deer is completely processed, you do not need to call us. Your deer may be partially processed but we are waiting on your specialty items or we may not have gotten to yours yet. We have been processing deer for decades now and we know what we are doing. Your meat is fine and yes, they are in a cooler in a controlled environment before being processed ( yes, we actually have people think we do not have coolers and freezers😔)!
3. Lastly, if we have called you to pick up your processed deer, please come and pick it up asap. The longer your deer sits in our freezer, the longer it takes to get another deer processed and in the freezer. It also states on our cut sheet that there will be a storage fee if you don't pick up in a timely manner. We get all kinds of excuses as to why people can't pick up. We have heard them all.
We love the majority of our customers, most are like family to us and we look forward to seeing them and hearing their hunting stories year after year, but sadly there are always a few ignorant people who have to ruin it for everyone. For Saturday, December 13, Deer drop off is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. space is limited so it is a first come , first serve basis. Absolutely NO DONATED DEER WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS DAY!!! Thank you, happy hunting!
