Ice was nice while it lasted…..One last good run before our annual January Mud Season begins in southern New England.

Finally got on some good ice in southern New England this week. Not a ton of success but landed a couple of Pike this week. Good to be outdoors on the hard water keeping the fish brain sharp.

Today I had Frank from Quonnie Fish Co. join me for a gorgeous December day of fishing in Rhode Island. The Black Sea Bass have moved out of local state waters but we got into some nice Blackfish for the freezer.

I am proud of our team. I’m proud of my son. He’s a leader. Today marked the end of our football season. Although we lost the in the championship, it was a great season. So much blood sweat and tears, character was made. Love our dawgs. Go Westerly!
