Beautiful Sweet Breeze peaches 🍑 are heading to the market. This week we will have one of our favorites, sweet yellow “Vision” corn 🌽. I’m ready for a taste test tonight! We’re in the heart of the summer harvest season… come, shop, enjoy. On Saturday there will also be 4 varieties of sweet, juicy plums, white and yellow peaches, all kinds of tomatoes and peppers, eggplant, squash and more. Hope to see you Saturday!

Sweet white corn will be available tomorrow morning at the market. We also have nectarines and peaches and 3 varieties of delicious juicy plums including this week’s flavorful Satsuma. Hope you will stop by the market on Saturday, 9 to 3. We have delicious plums and nectarines and the first peaches 🍑 are being picked. Pick up some summer vegetables like squash, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant and be sure to check out the free recipes. It looks like we may be able to pull sweet corn for the last Saturday in July! I know… the wait is hard. More on that next week… and we are watching the green beans, they are looking good and are in full blossom. Hoping for some rain this weekend 🌧️. See you at the market ☀️

Like so many others, our peach crop will be significantly diminished this year, but we will have some peaches 🍑 by mid-season. We don’t have the early varieties, but as you can see the first plums and nectarines are soon ready to be picked. Looking forward to the pear 🍐 and apple 🍎 harvest… looks like a great crop! We are very grateful for all the fruit we will be harvesting when so many orchards suffered once in a lifetime losses.

Happy Independence Day weekend!

Opening day for our Saturday market will be July 11th, 9 to 3. We will soon be picking the first plums and nectarines, watch for pictures.

As the week progresses, we will give you a better idea of what fruit and vegetables will be in the market.

In the meantime, I’m off to the gardens to water 💦 as we wait impatiently for Mother Nature to help 🌧️.

We are officially finished picking tart cherries for 2026 🍒. Thanks to everyone who was interested in them this year. In a tough spring, our tart cherry harvest was a pleasant surprise. We look forward to updating you soon on the Saturday market opening.
The plum trees are hanging full… another blessing they avoided the April freeze!
The fruit is ripening, the gardens are growing…
