This past weekend the Wichita and Lawrence managers were in Manhattan for the Kansas Meat Processors Association meeting and competition. We entered our products in 16 categories and placed in 12.

We would like to introduce part of the team that makes all of this happen:
Bryan- (Lawrence) Has a Culinary background. Started with Yoder Meats in Wichita as a meat cutter and moved to Lawrence to become the manager. 12 years with the company.
Tanner- (Maize rd.) Started out as a counter help/Meat cutter and became the store manager middle of last year. 8 Years with the company.
Allie- (East Central) Started working at our Maize location as a counter help/Meat cutter and became the store manager not long after. June of last year, she transferred to the East location to become the new store manager after the remodel. 7 Years with the company.
Chris- (West st.) Started working here as a counter help and quickly got involved in all aspects of the business from front of house to the back-room production. He trained under Ashley (old manager) and became store Manager after she left. 5 Years with the company.
Damon- (West st. production) Damon started out as the Maize store manager 7 years ago and when the opportunity came, he took the West street production manager's position. He is the 1 person that does not get enough credit for all the work that is done with just him and 1 helper. (If it is ground or smoked, he most likely produces it) (Bacon, Hams, Turkeys, Summer Sausage, Snack Sticks, Specialty Bratwurst, Sausages, Ground Beef and so on.) 7 Years with the company.
Pat- (West st.) Started his journey with the business as a counter help/Meat cutter 22 years ago when the business was YB Meats. Learned to work the back room and became the store manager when Alan & Carol bought them out and became Yoder Meats. More stores were added and later became General Manager of Wichita and Lawrence. 22 Years with the company.
