We are so pleased to be one of the grant recipients for the Kansas Healthy Food Initiative! 🎉These funds will help us determine our market needs, financial feasibility, and early store design & planning. All critical components to learn more about how we can ensure Wichita's first food co-op is a success!

An earlier grant recipient is Create Campaign. They are located here in Wichita, too, and working to fill food access gaps in north Wichita. Be sure to read the article to learn more about their project. We love seeing all the good food work happening in our community. 🥕🥬

In 2025, the Kansas Healthy Food Initiative Predevelopment Technical Assistance Grant Program awarded 9 projects a total of $262,831 through two rounds of funding. We've just reached 100 followers! When we are set up to start accepting member-owner shares, 100 is a huge milestone for a co-op. Thank you for your early engagement!
