I have some very sad news to share. After investing in numerous new hives last year to replace bees that we lost over Winter 21-22... now Winter 22-23 took out ALL of our hives 😞 Therefore, we will not be selling honey this year.

We lost one hive to mice... the rest were because of the temperatures this winter. (Climate change affects the entire ecosystem!) We left a great deal of honey with them to get them through the winter, but because of the warm weather, they did not hibernate like they normally would and went through the leftover honey too quickly. We put out pollen patties as well, but they just weren't interested.

We aren't giving up though. We will have our swarm traps out and do any cutouts that we can and hopefully we will be ready for next season. The new bees will go back to the same land we've been using, so it will be the same amazing honey you're used to!

I'm sorry to disappoint our customers, but this is the risk of working with a small amount of bees. Please be patient with us and we will hopefully have better news next year!

We are sad to say that we will not be in Pulaski today. The bees have just enough to get themselves through the winter, so it looks like this is officially the end of our season.

It was a super slow honey season, but we achieved two goals this year thanks to our Wolcott and Pulaski friends!

1. We broke even! Most of our profits this year went towards our new hives. Hopefully, they will be more productive next year since they will be more settled in.

2. We learned new things, met new people, and made new friendships! It's not just about selling honey... it's about chatting with all the familiar faces, answering questions about our girls and their honey, and seeing the kids' faces light up when they see the samples, lol!

There is still some honey left on the shelves at R&M Consignments in Wolcott. There will be some spectacular sales and raffles there on the 24th to celebrate the store's 4 year anniversary and expansion!

Adam and I look forward to next year and seeing all our old friends, as well as making some brand new ones! Thank you for your support and patience this year!

It will be a few more weeks before we have enough honey to set up at the Pulaski Market again! When we return, we will hopefully have Goldenrod, Vanilla infused and Jalapeño infused Hot Honey!
