If you’re a small flower farmer like myself, kudos to you for making it this far into the season! Some of you started this journey since middle of March, some since January (you know, those seeds that require your full attention like Lisianthus).
By now (August), I’m exhausted, the weeds are up to my height, the heat is unbearable, and the bugs have made my farm their forever home. I saw another farmer’s post which absolutely rings true, “It’s August and your garden has gone to sh*t.” 😂 I’m no longer in a thriving BUT surviving mode.

May vs August (can you tell that almost fake smile in Aug).
