Hey friends, I wanted to give a quick update regarding cash payments.
We know some of you prefer to pay with cash, and we understand that it can be frustrating when that option is not available directly at the farm stand. Based on legal advice, we have been advised to be very careful about how and where cash payments are handled.
For that reason, beginning next weekend, any cash payments will need to be made at the house, where we will have a cash box available. We know it is not ideal to have to walk around or drive to the front, but for now this is the best way for us to continue operating while staying within the guidelines we have been advised to follow.
We are actively fighting for our farm stand and standing up against the city’s attempts to make it harder for small homegrown businesses like ours to exist. This whole situation has been exhausting and discouraging at times, but we are not giving up. We built this stand with love, hard work, and the support of this community, and we plan to keep fighting for it every step of the way.
