Join as at Moose Lake Brrewing on the 19th! We'll share some of our journey and address those questions people often ask, plus enjoy a honey sample, and share some seeds and ideas over a Moose Lake brew!
Our grandparents and parents all left the farm for 'modern life' - and here we are, going back to their practices! We'll share our journey from living exclusively as "city kids" to doing things more like our grandparents did - with a few twists! From growing vegetables to fruit trees, from beekeeping to pest control, from woodchucks to composting toilets, from forest management to solar power, the proprietors of Uncle Herman's Farm / Aunt Bee's Honey will share the adventures along the way.
Tips, tricks, trade-offs and lessons learned, as well as honey sample, some of our favorite seeds, and a Moose Lake Brewing Company beverage, are included! Share your own ideas and experiences!

Most people are watching their dry summer garden crops fail.

But hiding beneath the sand is pure ancestral intelligence.

Meet the incredible Hopi charred corn cob carbon sponge.

Traditional desert families buried these bio-activated cobs deeply underground.

These subterranean sponges captured the icy chill of spring snowmelt.

They held vital moisture flawlessly through six scorching months.

This brilliant heritage trick finished entire crops without any irrigation.

Real permaculture growers have always known this deep earth secret.

Save this lost skill before it disappears and tag someone.

Bury these sponges once and you will never go back.

Have you ever tried burying carbon underground?
