Let’s have fun sharing how we prep and stock and process stuff. Everyone has their own way that works in their homes. Please be kind because, as admin, I don’t have time to babysit grown adults. This is a page to enjoy for all like minded and canning addicts.
Please block people that irritate you don’t complain to admin.
Do your own research. Do what works for you in your home. But don’t lecture others on how they do it. You can state “hey, you are technically not supposed to can with flour, you may already know this and made an administrative decision for your family, but I thought I’d mention it Incase you never heard about it”. Simple and kind and to the point. Non judgmental. And then let it go.
Nothing on these pages is supposed to represent usda or any alphabet groups approval. This means, some of these posts may contain things some do and live through but could be harmful to another. I am no scientist and I am no keeper of facts. I simply am running a page for sharing ideas and it is your sole responsibility to figure out if this is safe or not.
If you find information on the page risqué or outside of your comfort zone then by all means leave the group to spend time in ones that suit your style better.
Please don’t post ‘I’m leaving this group because people aren’t this or that’. If it doesn’t fit you please be happy in groups that do fit you better. We won’t be mad. We want you happy.

Let’s see what you all are working on and share big sales like canners or jars that others may cash in on too. Let’s help each other prepare for the unknown and do it at the best costs we can.
Try to leave politics and other hot topics out. Again, we need a happy place and I’m not a babysitter. Thank you let’s kick the can.
