One for the loaf and one for sunset!

Some days, I simply marvel at the incredible loaf our beautiful mother starter can create.
For those who are interested, I affectionately call her Amma 🌺
Today, as I cut open a fresh loaf, I felt moved to share the awe and wonder I still feel for the beauty, power, consistency and grace she brings to us each day.

It is such an honour to tend to her—to feed her, care for her and, quite often, chat away to her as I go about my day.

She is truly a gift, and one I will always be grateful for.
So, on behalf of our loyal and deeply supportive local community, I give thanks. 🙏
