Dearborn County Planning and Zoning Department will be discussing a draft of ordinance changes with the Plan Commission in relation to the keeping of animals on Monday, January 23rd at 6pm at the court house. If these changes are approved, many homesteaders may end up violating the new ordnances. I urge you to read through the purposed changes to see how they fit your property and lifestyle.

Our babies are hitting the ground! This little guy will be our oldest child’s 4-H market wether project for 2023. We have two others on the ground and expecting more to come.

Working through our second harvest of green beans on our first crop. We only made it through half of our first crop tonight and there are still so many on the plants! We are more than willing to share. If you would like some fresh green beans, you can come pick a bag to take home. Just let me know and we will arrange a time for you to bring your crew over to do some picking!
