Today is International Grenache Day

Grenache or Garnacha is a widely planted red wine grape that produces flavorful and aromatic wines.

It is a late-ripening variety that thrives in hot, dry, and windy climates, making it well-suited to regions with a Mediterranean climate

Known for its red fruit flavors, particularly strawberry, raspberry, and cherry. It can also exhibit notes of dried herbs, blood orange, leather, and spices like cinnamon and liquorice.
