This harvest, we went back to one of the most palatable AND nutrient-dense microgreens in our arsenal...

🥦 BROCCOLI 🥦

Not only do these go great on just about EVERYTHING, but they are seriously one of the easiest ways to pack some extra nutrition into your face!

Broccoli microgreens can contain significantly higher concentrations of certain nutrients than mature broccoli, including vitamins C and E. Just a little update for everyone!

Our organic sourdough loaves and other sourdough goodies are still on the way! Unfortunately, our oven decided to call it quits at the worst possible time. 😅

The good news? We have a brand new baking oven on the way from the UK! It should be here in just a few weeks, and we can't wait to start turning out the kind of bread we've been dreaming of making for you.

We've been doing our best with our home oven, but it just doesn't hold high temperatures consistently enough to produce the quality we're aiming for. And rather than rush something we're not proud of, we'd rather wait until we can do it right.

In the meantime, we may experiment with a few delicious sourdough discard recipes in our less than reliable home oven. If we do, you'll be the first to know!

Thank you all for your patience, encouragement, and support. We promise it'll be worth the wait. ❤️🍞

Hello, party people!

We've decided to make a little post about something we've been thinking about a lot lately... our use of AI in our everyday lives and business.

First and foremost, we want our friends, fellow small business owners, vendors, and marketeers to know that we don't judge anyone who uses AI in their work. We completely understand how useful and cost-effective it can be for things like advertisements, product photos, and marketing. For many businesses, it's an incredible tool, and we genuinely respect that.

That said, for our own personal beliefs and the direction we want Orion's Harvest to grow, we've decided to take a different path.

Ending with our July 9th post (our 10% off announcement), since then and into the future we will no longer be using AI-generated images or artwork in our marketing. Instead, we're going to lean into our own creativity, learn a lot more about photography and continue improving our skills one step at a time.

One of our long-term dreams is to eventually hire veterans, military family members, students, and other local creative types to help with our photography, artwork, and marketing. We'd much rather invest in people than pixels. We want to do our small part to help keep the creative spirit of humanity alive, because sometimes it feels like it's becoming a little harder to find.

This isn't about being "better" than anyone else or saying there's a right or wrong way to run a business. It's simply the choice that feels right for us.

So please forgive the occasional typo, the less-than-perfect grammar, or the photos that don't quite have that magical "golden hour" glow. They'll be real...they'll be ours...and they'll be part of the journey.

Yep, you read that right!

We have officially named our newest product...

And if we do say so ourselves... the packaging is looking pretty fantastic!

Buuuuuit... the chocolate on our very first few were a little wonky. 😅

Don't worry, though. We figured out the issue! But now we're left with about 10 bars that may not be picture-perfect... even though they still taste absolutely incredible.

So we had an idea...
