Our Mission: To champion Asian culture and share its quality through food. As most food stories do, ours begins with the home and our parents. Growing up, our co-founders distinctly remember mothers crafting savory Asian stews, a portion of which would always be frozen for later. Whenever life was busy, families would heat the frozen stews, add freshly cooked noodles and enjoy a quick, wholesome a

nd delicious noodle soup at their convenience. Too busy to cook daily, we were unexcited by what is often available - greasy take-out or store products with suspect quality/preservatives. So we borrowed Mom's cookbook and lovingly recreated her savory Asian soups that rejuvenate and restore. By focusing on convenience and premium ingredients, we simply wish to help busy individuals . Happy birthday, America!
We hope that everyone is having a safe and relaxing July 4th weekend. First, a shout out to our Nomz community who love noodle soups day in and day out no matter the weather! You guys are our why, and it’s been wonderful to be blessed with your support, often since the very first day.
We know that it may have been tougher to find Nomz recently, and we apologize! As has been widely reported, various constraints, good prices and even outright shortages have been a c-h-a-l-l-e-n-g-e for us and our peers in 2022. With temperatures and prices heating up this summer, we have decided to take a summer break and reassess conditions later in the year. So if you celebrate one, enjoy your summer break while we take ours! Stay cool and stay healthy, everyone!!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! To kick things off, we’d like to spotlight the Asian Comedy Festival happening right here in NYC this Friday and Saturday. Join them for 2 nights and 6 shows with the best AAPI comedic talent spanning stand-up, sketch, music and some never-before-seen surprises in a comedy festival! Showcasing a line-up studded with stars 💫 , including our favorite, the super amazing creative talents and longtime Nomz supporters of the . If you haven’t already, check out their Netflix short with ! This event is essentially the fictional comedy show from the short in real life! A portion of proceeds will benefit another Nomz favorite , a local charity which strives to combat food insecurity and isolation within NYC’s elderly AAPI community. Congratulations to our retail partner 99 Ranch on the grand opening of their very first New York store this weekend and their 57th location! 🎉

Hey Nomz community!
First, a huge thank you for riding alongside as we navigated a pandemic, variant waves and a generally crazy time all around the last two years. Whenever the going got harder, your nonstop love for our wholesome, effortless soups that delight and rejuvenate gave us the energy and conviction to keep trucking! While we are so ready for normal, stability still seems to be taking its sweet time to arrive in 2022.
A delayed supply chain or outright shortages have affected many businesses both large and small lately; and even though we proudly craft our soups with love locally in the USA, ours has been no exception. So we wanted to kindly ask y’all for some love and patience if there are any unexpected shortages, changes or substitutions that our team may request in the future. Our apologies for any inconvenience, and we hope our wonderful users can take any potential disruptions in stride as we wait for our supply lines (and honestly the world!) to return to normal. Stay safe and stay calm, everyone! 🙏🤗

We’re doing it again! This time for the latest Marvel movie: and the Legend of the Ten Rings!
We are amped for this movie. There is a power to being seen on the silver screen. And with the Marvel franchise tag plus a leading cast of Asian descent even down to the director, the stakes feel a bit higher to make that great impression and inspire more affirming diversity within cinema. As they say, “What you see on a screen is what other people say and therefore what you believe about yourself”.
So as we have done time and time again, let’s rally the community and give Shang-Chi a ! To help, the Nomz team has made a donation to the Goldhouse Community fund and has a limited quantity of tickets to give away! See details at the end of this post.
For us, it is an honor and a mission to champion fellow Asian American creatives and projects as we expand the diversity of the Asian American narrative together.
Note: the Regal Essex was intentionally chosen as it is the closest theater to Manhattan Chinatown. It is our hope that when our lucky winners go to movies, they also consider supporting the local economy while they are in the area. Get some boba on the way! Grab dinner afterwards! Or get your favorite Asian snacks and groceries at one of our favorite vendors which is conveniently located right underneath the movie theater!
As we slowly emerge from the last 18 months, we hope our community can support each other and help us recover and stand tall, together.
