Four people have been charged with a burglary in Venango Township that happened earlier this week.
Police were called to the Oneida Valley Grocery Store Monday morning for an overnight burglary. After investigating, police say $500
in cash was stolen along with around $1,000 in groceries and lottery tickets.
It was then two days later when police were called back out to the same store for another robbery.
After an investigation, police found the suspects and the stolen items at a home in the 100 block of Hughes Road in Hilliards.
Police have charged 35-year-old Robert Pridgeon of Butler, 20-year-old Kevin Snow of Karns City, 50-year-old Scott Cummins of
Butler, 32-year-old Boyd Pritts of Butler with Burglary and several other charges.
All but Snow was placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail.

Thank you everyone!! The people that committed the break in have been apprehended. I hope justice is served. At least 1 of these persons is a repeat offenders. Thank you thank you yo everyone that cooperated with authorities!!!

Community we need your cameras! We just met with people yesterday about installing additional cameras. We got broke into again last night. This is the second time since Sunday night.
They were on foot on Hughes Rd. Please check your cameras to see if these ignorant ass—- were caught on camera. We know who they are but for some reason the police don’t feel the need to speak to them.
Let’s keep our community safe! Let’s look out for each other

My dad taught me to not depend on anyone else but myself. When I decided to open my business, I thought that I was doing something great for the community. Giving people in the community back what they had lost. A grocery and hsrdware store.
I don’t think people understand the commitment, sacrifices, stress, responsibility and exhaustion that comes with owning a small business. You think pleasing people in your life is exhausting try pleasing thousands…. I have been ridiculed, beat down, stolen from, lied to, disrespected, called names, stabbed in the back. Nothing I did was ever enough…. You know what you need to do…work longer hours, get product I want but never buy, work all the shotty shifts so my employees won’t get mad and quit. Have employees disrespect you to your face and not say anything back because if you do you will be working all of the shifts yourself. You can’t quit even if you want to.
This is why nothing phases me anymore. I have had to grow touch skin, eat s**t, play dumb and everything else you can imagine in my life. For what? To make everyone else comfortable and happy.
I am tired of struggling. This business and community has taken enough from me. Just so everyone knows the truth, I put every last penny I have into trying to keep the business afloat. I don’t have any more to give. The community (not all) has not supported us for a few years now. I will be making some really drastic and hard decisions in the next month.
Everyone was so excited when we opened then Dollar General moved in a year later. We see where people’s loyalty lies. Those owners don’t live in this community, they don’t care about their employees or the people, they only care about the almighty dollar. Their kids don’t go to school with your kids. My kids are friends with your kids. I’m friends with you. I always support your kids with buying fund raisers, sponsoring them in sports, buying ads in the yearbook, donating food and baskets for benefits. Donating my time, delivering to the elderly, making sure no one goes hungry. I do all of this because I’m a good person who does Gods work. Not for praise or recognition. Think about next time you drive past an empty store, lights no longer shining, and an empty house for sale across the road where we once lived.

Good morning everyone,
We are are trying to improve our customer experience by upgrading our phone system and internet service. This being said we are experiencing some technical issues during this transition period. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our loyal customers. Please be patient with us, we have been in contact with Armstrong everyday trying to work out the issues. They have been very good at coming out and trying to fix the problems. These issues are very stressful for us as well. We just want to take care of our customers. So please if you experience an issue while trying to reach us, let us know so that we can fix the problem because you may not be the only one that has experienced it.
Thank you again for your continued support and patience during this upgrade.
