e work hard, as well as spend time together as a family. After a lot of back breaking work with little in-between time for rest, our effort paid off. The fruits, vegetables and fresh produce grown in our farm bore good results bringing the much-needed income to the entire family. That is a far cry from that time when we first arrived at Thailand. We came to Thailand without any skillset and with little money in the pocket. Furthermore, the Thai culture and language being foreign to us made etching a livelihood even more challenging. However, my parents are determined and cheerful people. They also taught us the value of always being positive no matter what happens. And so, with our ‘never say die’ attitude, we overcome those very difficult early days in Thailand. Our farm produces a variety of fresh produce, including tea leaves, nuts and fruits. Of all the produces, we are most proud of our honey. Our honey is so pure that a mild scent reminiscent of the flowers from which the nectar was collected from emits from it. I am truly happy that our farm produced products have been well received by my customers. I have received compliments and gained customers from many countries. Apart from Thailand, I have loyal customers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Hong Kong. Today, many of my customers have become friends of mine. Particularly, one customer who turned good friend and now a great business partner is Brother Cheng (Scott). I am a traditional retailer who knows the need for digital transformation for a long while now. However, I have not been able to find a reliable technology partner and platform that can truly help Qin grow and still maintain its brand integrity. My partnership with Brother Cheng has helped me to reinvent Qin in the digital sphere. I believe my transition from an in-store only to a digital hybrid retail experience will enable Qin to capture more market share. That is because advanced technologies will make retaining existing customers and winning new ones easier. I am very grateful for all the encouragement, support and kindness I have received.
