Suppling truffles direct to Restaurants and truffle lovers all over New Zealand via overnight couriers Tewnion Truffière was established 1996 by Wayne and Alison Tewnion located in Yaldhurst, Canterbury. Hosting 600 trees, planted over an area of 1.25ha the Truffière is highly productive for New Zealand conditions achieving yields of approx 100kg, our trees are a mix of English Oak and Hazel inocu

lated with the Périgord Black Truffle (Tuber melanosporum). Canterbury has the perfect climate for producing Périgord Black Truffle, Hot summers and Frosty winters essential for flavour and aroma.
