der Jim Milligan became enamored by the intriguing oil and vinegar stores he visited. After a long, successful career in international business, Jim recognized the exploding “foodie” market. He opened the first Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars tasting room in aTraverse City, a place where he frequently visited with his family. And the name “Fustini’s”? In Italy, a fustini is a stainless steel container that both looked beautiful and are the most effective way to store olive oils and balsamic vinegars. The original store flourished from the start. A healthy and nutritious product, presented with a commitment to artisanal craft and supported by unwavering customer service, was bound to be a success. Jim opened new stores in additional Michigan locations, including Petoskey, Holland and Ann Arbor over the next few years. We’re committed to inspiring culinary creativity with our community with wholesome, healthy oils and vinegars as well as gourmet products and services. Since 2020, Fustini's Oils & Vinegars has been generously donating a percentage of its annual profits to Food Gatherers to help fight hunger in our community. This year, they stopped by with a $6,900 check. When combined with previous year donations, Fustini's has provided the equivalent of 71,000 meals for food-insecure neighbors!
