Orto : The Kitchen and Market Garden Nursery
Orto used to be called Heartsease Herb Basket. The Nursery moved to a new location and therefore the name change. Heartsease Herb Basket use to be on the farm Heartsease and now our new location in the Clarens Distric.
After a period of 3 year settling in and adjusting to our new location and climate, we opened a shop in the lovely small town of Clarens in the Eastern Free State.
Orto @ Down to Earth is in the County Corner Building on the Square.
Orto @ Down to Earth is an Apothecary, Nursery, Pottery, Fresh Produce and Deli. Here you will find herbs you have never seen or heard of and also every other herb that is available.
Everything in this Artisanal Shop is Old School in a Modern Wold and very Down to Earth.
So for the old school and old world feel this is the shop to visit.
