On Monday, 7 September, our team participated in the much-anticipated Trade Show at Makers Landing, V&A Waterfront — and we thought was the perfect day to share a little report back on how it went!

Makers Landing was transformed into a wonderful artisanal food market, showcasing cheeses, seafood, curated meats and baked goods — an absolute foodie’s dream! What better way to spend a Monday? 😋

The Trade Show was a positive and successful event, with a fantastic reception from everyone who attended.

We were especially proud to showcase our Cold Smoked Trout Ribbons, which Three Streams proudly packs under Wild Peacock’s private label. The product received lots of positive feedback and the event provided us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase our offering, engage directly with customers and fellow industry representatives, share our story, and further strengthen our relationship with the Wild Peacock team.

A big thank you to the Wild Peacock team for hosting such a well-organised event and for making every supplier feel so welcomed and valued. Your hospitality and support were truly appreciated! 👏

🧇 Smoked Trout Rashers Breakfast Waffles

Ingredients
• 4 Belgian-style waffles
• 200g Woolworths Trout Rashers
• 150g cream cheese
• 2 tbsp crème fraîche or plain Greek yoghurt
• 1 tbsp chopped chives
• 1 tsp chopped fresh dill, plus extra for garnish
• 4 poached eggs
• Lemon wedges
• Freshly ground black pepper

Method
✨ Toast the waffles until crisp and golden.
✨ Mix the cream cheese with the crème fraîche, chives and dill.
✨ Spread generously over the warm waffles.

A huge thank you to Foodgistics for inviting Three Streams to participate in the 2026 Foodgistics Trade Show at The Wicket, Newlands Cricket Ground, last week Thursday!

What an incredible day! From the warm welcome and exceptional organisation to the premium setting and fantastic engagement with customers and fellow suppliers, the event was a true highlight.

We loved showcasing our 80g Cold Smoked Salmon & Trout, RAW Salmon & Trout Portions and Hot Smoked Salmon PMD Fillet — with plenty of interest, great conversations and lots of delicious tastings along the way!

Our Cold Smoked Salmon & Trout bagel canapés were a hit, while the Hot Smoked Salmon PMD tasting created some fantastic interest.

Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to share the Three Streams story and introduce more customers to who we are, where we come from and what we offer.

A special thank you to the entire Foodgistics team for the professionalism, attention to detail and incredible support from the moment we arrived. You certainly know how to make your suppliers and customers feel valued! 👏
