Breaking News | An attempted robbery of a cash-in-transit vehicle at the Bushbuckridge shopping complex turned violent today.
Two suspects allegedly targeted a parked cash van at Bushbuckridge CBD, and the situation escalated rapidly when one suspect forced open the vehicle's door and stabbed the driver.
A security official stationed at the complex intervened immediately, and during an exchange of gunfire, the official shot and fatally wounded the assailant.
The second suspect evaded capture and fled the scene on foot before authorities secured the area.
