We've been silent the last few weeks (perhaps months)... But for good reason!

Working on a few things at once can become overwhelming and leave little-to-no time for social media.

You may be wondering what we are up to?

Well here goes the list;📝

1. The brand re-design - yes we are in the process of making some brand changes to BumbleBee Organics...

No we don't think we'll be chaning the name anytime soon 😅

2. The eBook - we are in the final draft and review before Graphic designing, then finally launching📚

3. BackyardFarm Kits - a complete kit to get you started on farming in your backyard. This includes trays, structures etc. The idea is to offer a full kit to assemble yourself and start growing for commercial purposes within 30days from ordering.This is still on the drawing board before the development and launching phase. 🚜

4. Homegrow kits - we want to offer an option for individuals (like vegans) to grow their own microgreens for home use. This is for small quantities and already in the testing phase 🏡

5. Our first training course! Yes, a full on A-Z training course. We are busy with the module and section outlines, while creating student study guides, quizess and explanitory videos for each module/section. 👩‍🏫

It still amazes me to think back to the first time our microgreens was available at food lovers market in Nelspruit. I am honored to have been able to produce such great greens and am excited for what the future holds. Growing these beauties for community projects, creating valuable content for South Africans and enjoying a life worth living!
My goal is to show you, how you can also grow a microgreen farm in your backyard. For business or pleasure. You can generate an income and love what you do!

Some you win, some you loose! 😱

This was our very first try at microgreen pesto! We wanted the sting of a radish pesto and so we set out to create a pesto from our Radish microgreens.

The result was not that great. Non-the-less... We tried, we failed and we will soon try again.

May this inspire you to keep on trying, no matter the outcome in life!

Throw back to the start of it all....
Seeds.
Trays.
Water.
Misting bottles!
We use to mist our seeds for better germination, when we started our first few batches. We did this to prevent over-watering and washing the seeds away.
