Harvest Club

Harvest Club Connecting Foodies and Farmers with Families. Come join us at our events to meet with these wonderful people!

Harvest Club is a rapidly growing network that helps Hermanus & Stanford locals access vibrantly healthy food, while helping small, regenerative farmers, homesteaders and local food makers become wildly successful. To better support local foodies, farmers and families, Harvest Club hosts regular events, as well as offering a food buying club for Hermanus, Stanford & surrounds, making it easier to

buy directly from local regenerative farmers and ethical producers - from grass-fed dairy, to grass-finished meat, organic nuts and fruits, and chemical-free products. We're actively growing a supportive network of foodies, farmers and food gardeners - actively collaborating, learning, sharing ideas and opportunities. Hit the 'Learn More' button to sign up for notifications of our future events and workshops! Also, click that 'Learn More' button if you want to join our food club. It's free to join and there's no obligation, it's your choice to order something or not. You'll find more details here: https://harvestclub.co.za

Our November food club is opening for orders later today, and oooh, just wait till you see what brand new items are available to you this month. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I'm busy loading up the last few goodies to the system right now, and I'll share the link to shop as soon as it goes live.

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿงˆ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿซ Of course, you'll be able to get your "magnificent" yoghurt and grass-fed dairy, pasture-raised eggs, regeneratively-farmed meats, along with some biodynamic fresh greens and all your cupboard/pantry staples! But you'll also now have access to some very exciting brands (including my new favourite gluten-free cookies)! ๐Ÿ˜‹

By the way, if you know of any Hermanus & Stanford locals who might love to join our food club to support local farmers and producers and get exclusive access to great products (often at better than retail prices), please share this post and invite them to join us in this WhatsApp group today!

Our first-ever Harvest Club Food Club is live! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜ƒ And we're so excited to be able to support our amazing local food heroes, such as Bryan Robertson from Me-n-u in the Kitchen, Janine van der Nest from her new food brand, Food Stories, and Christine Stevens Harvest. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ

But the Food Club shop is only open for another day and a half! Eek! ๐Ÿ˜ฌSo if you want to check it out and keen to support clean, great quality food, you can create your account on our FoodClubHub page here (it's free to join!): https://harvestclub.foodhub.org.za/Members/Join/0b9Y6pRwFppCyVuc ๐Ÿ˜€

Last week, we had over 70 people arrive for what was originally planned as a small little sundowner gathering at my home! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Thank goodness The Fork & Farm restaurant offered to help - with only one day's notice! - otherwise my house would never have been the same again!๐Ÿคฃ

Here are some photos of what became the first-ever Harvest Club event, complete with sponsored drinks (thanks Strandveld Vineyards ๐Ÿท๐Ÿฅ‚), an incredible shared Harvest Table of local foods, interesting talks, and plenty exciting conversations, collaborations, group-sourced solutions (like access to bags of non-GMO feed for our chickens and ducks! ๐Ÿ”) and more.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed and so warmly and enthusiastically supported this 'little gathering'! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ”ฅ We're now on to planning the next event, coming up in May. Details to follow very soon. ๐Ÿ˜

"Let's see where this grows."

I've been saying that a lot lately. ๐Ÿ˜†

Harvest Club started as a spontaneous idea to gather with a few like-minded foodies, farmers and homesteaders from Stanford, Hermanus and surrounds... and one idea and conversation lead to the next, and the next... and the concept kept growing and growing until we had a fantastic event in Stanford with over 70 people attending!

So now I'm adding this page to continue the conversations, collaborations and connections.

If you're interested in local, healthy food, and supporting local foodies and regenerative farmers, please come join us!

And, let's see where this grows. ๐Ÿ˜‰
