There is no such thing as the best chilli sauce ever!

Maybe when people say a sauce is the best they should say it's the best sauce for them, or that particular sauce is their favorite or go-to sauce.

It is not possible to taste or sample all the hot sauces that are avaialble, and taste and preference is subjective.

What I feel like having today may not be what I will craving tomorrow, and the dish/food I am going to enjoy a hot sauce product with also has an effect.

Whenever I see a post claiming that a particular hot sauce or product is the best, I just shake my head.

What criteria was used to make that assessment?

What other hot sauce products were used for comparison?

Which categories were judged?
Fermented, Louisiana style, vinegar based, fresh, Tabasco coppies etc?

Every saucier and/or sauce maker thinks their products are best.

The fact is, we can put down 10 different products from 10 different producers, ask 200 people to give them a sniff and a lick and then choose the one they like most.
The results will surprise most.

Every person on this planet has their own likes and dislikes, and taste, just like heat levels, consistency, flavor etc is subjective.

I have tasted some godawful products, both craft and commercial, that I never want near my house, and yet other people love them. Then there are products I crave for that is not to the taste of others.

Thank the Lord Almighty we do not all like or love the same stuff.
