Sometimes you have to lose your balance before you realise how important it is to find it again. ❤️

These last three months have been rough, exciting, exhausting, emotional and incredibly rewarding all at once.

So many dreams have come true. Nutri Fuel Foods is becoming something real. But behind the scenes, it has been CRAZY.

Setting up the kitchen. Waiting for deliveries. Getting equipment sorted. Labels. Packaging. Stock. Branding. Suppliers. Orders. All the little things people don't see.

There were late nights and very little sleep.

Weeks went by where I didn't even get to CrossFit. No walks. No time to prepare my own meals. And yes… way too many takeaways.

I felt it. My family felt it. My friends felt it.

But somehow…

WE MADE IT. ❤️

The freezers are full. Healthy meals are ready. And I'm finally finding my way back to myself too.

I'm back at CrossFit Mosselbay. I'm moving again. I'm fuelling my body again.

And recently I even took part in a friendly HYROX simulated competition with my son. ❤️

My daughter was right there too, selling her Nutri Rush healthy snacks and helping fuel the athletes.

And that's when I realised again…

This isn't just a business. This has become a family journey.

My husband Francois works in Angola, but every time he comes home, he jumps straight in to help me put everything together. And sometimes he's also the one who has to tell me:

"Enough. Go rest." 😂❤️

My friend Clara from Brand Fuel has also been beside me every step of the way — printing labels, helping me prep, helping me solve problems and just being there.

Her husband also works in Angola, and when they come home, they jump right back into supporting what we're building.

There is SO much behind a small business that people don't see.

The long days.
The exhaustion.
The people who help.
The sacrifices.
The little wins.
And the moments where someone simply says, "I've got you."

And maybe that's why I'm sharing this.

Because I'm not perfect.

I don't have the perfect health journey.

I'm human.

Sometimes life gets busy and we put ourselves last.

But you can always come back.

And I've learnt something through all of this:

When you're tired, hungry and busy, it's easy to make the convenient choice.

But when your freezer is stocked with healthy, ready-to-go meals…

the healthy choice is already waiting for you.

Not because I've got everything figured out.

But because I know what it's like to be busy, tired and overwhelmed — and still want to look after yourself.
