She changed because life left her no choice.
She loved deeply, even when she was hurting.
She stayed loyal, even when she felt alone.
She still believed in people, even after they broke her.
But at some point

She stopped chasing people who made her feel invisible.
She stopped trying to prove her worth to those who couldn’t see it.
She stopped apologizing for being sensitive, emotional, and soft hearted.
She started choosing her peace.
She started choosing herself.
She started healing quietly, slowly, privately.
And now
she smiles differently.
She loves differently.
She wakes up with a heart that finally knows its value.
