Good News: Dubai Police have successfully busted 3 criminal gangs involved in mobile phone scams, where 13 members posed as police, bank and immigration officials, contacting individuals to demand fake fine payments or claim their bank details needed updating through calls, sms and WhatsApp messages.

According to Ministerial Resolution No. 44 of 2022, all work performed directly under the sun and in open places shall not be allowed between the peak hours of 12.30 pm and 3 pm from 15 June to 15 September every year. Employers are required to provide shaded areas for their workers to rest during rest periods

Companies face fines starting from AED 5,000 for each employee found working between these hours, up to AED 50,000 if several staff are working during the specified time.
