Our Story
I started raising hogs back in the 19’s out of love for eating pork. In 1997, my family and I started managing our pastures like few were doing in the country, and in doing so, creating well-marbled grass-fed pigs year-round. And we had the support of our community. What we needed was a butcher shop that was committed to whole animals, one that would expertly cut out the different parts of the pork meat. And since no one else was gonna do it, and because we're the stubborn farming type, we did it ourselves. Better yet, we were going to do it in our community. We weren't going to compromise on farming practices, flavor, or creativity. We are dedicated to sustainable farming, to the craft of butchery, and to making this amazing food accessible to many kitchens.
Today, we are still in business with a bright future... Many thanks to my loving daughters.
