On the 10th of February I started my next chapter in my life. Being a support worker for people with a disability. I do miss my old career. But looking forward to giving support to the people in our community who need it most. With much sadness I'm signing off.
Best wishes to everyone thanks for your support it was a wonderful experience and I miss you all.

Good morning from Penola.
It's been nearly a year since the first surgery. Very slow recovery. But at least some good improvement.
I'm enjoying the slow life of Penola. A lot of history around the town.

Home now more than a bit uncomfortable.
At least no cast this time. Should be on the mend by Friday.

Today is surgery day hopefully the last one.
The recovery time is about 6 to 8 weeks.
And I was hoping to be back at work by end of February
2024. Hopefully I should be ready to start a new career by xmas.
Would like to work in aged care.

Update.. although Mick is set to have a 3rd surgery at the end of the month, we are both well.
We have decided to sell in Gawler and have purchased a cute little place down in Penola. We move mid October.
Its been a bit up and down, but are looking forward to going back to country life.
We hope all of you are doing well. We miss you.. 💕💕
