For Dad....

This one is a little bit special to me...

My dad absolutely loved baked beans on toast. It was one of those simple meals that just reminds me of him, and when we started thinking about what a Father’s Day flavour at Stacks should be, I kept coming back to the idea of making something that Dad himself would have loved.

so… we made it.

🫘spiced beans
🥩 pan-fried chorizo
🍳 a gooey fried egg, fresh from the farm
🌶️ jalapeño hot sauce

🥞 all piled onto our fluffy soufflé pancakes
it’s hearty, a little spicy, a little messy and very, very delicious

I reckon Dad would’ve absolutely smashed it.

Father’s Day can be many things... For some, it’s about celebrating the dads standing beside them. For others, it’s remembering the dads who aren’t here anymore. And for many, it’s about making Dad feel a little bit special.

So this Sunday, let us make him breakfast. 🤎

For Dad is our little tribute to the dads we love, the dads we miss, and the dads who deserve a bloody good breakfast.
