What's in your bag?

We asked a few of our visitors to share what made it into their market bags — from fresh seasonal produce and artisan treats to a few favourite market finds.

Every bag tells a different story, but they all have one thing in common: supporting local farmers, growers and producers.

What would be in your market bag this Saturday?

Each week our community comes together to support, celebrate and connect. Spend a Saturday morning at the Barossa Farmers Market and you'll quickly discover it's more than a place to shop — it's a place where people gather, friendships are formed, and local stories are shared.

Being a Market Member is about more than discounts and a market bag. It's about community, connection and belonging. It's a way to support the growers, producers and volunteers who help make the market what it is, week after week.

When you become a member, you're not just joining a market — you're becoming part of a community that cares. 💚

Hear from Sarah from Breaking Bread, sharing a little of her journey into baking.

What started with a chance to travel overseas led Sarah to a artisan bakery, where she learned the craft of making everything from artisan bread to delicate pastries. That experience sparked a passion that continues to shape her business today.

Seasonality plays a big role in what Sarah creates, with fresh, local ingredients inspiring many of her products. It's also one of her favourite ways to collaborate with fellow producers, celebrating the incredible produce grown right here in our region.

Stop by for a loaf, a pastry, and a chat with Sarah this Saturday morning.

Don't just take our word for it! Pack your bags, gather your friends, and come spend a weekend in the Barossa.

We loved hearing from recent visitors who had travelled from all over Australia to meet up, reconnect, and enjoy everything the region has to offer. From long breakfasts and winery visits to a Saturday morning wandering the Barossa Farmers Market, it's easy to see why so many people keep coming back.

The Barossa is best shared with friends — and we'd love to welcome you too.

With a name like Bean Addiction Artisan Coffee Roasters, what more do we need to say?!

Follow the irresistible aroma of freshly brewed coffee through the market each Saturday morning, where our baristas are busy crafting your favourite brews to fuel a morning of shopping, chatting and discovering the best of local produce.

Love the coffee as much as we do? Stop by the Bean Addiction stall to pick up a bag of beans and enjoy that market coffee experience at home too.
