We’ve been little quieter on here lately because we’ve been soaking up a fabulous holiday in Tasmania with some wonderful friends. 🧡
A huge thank you to Owen’s parents for taking care of the farm while we were away, and to our incredible team for keeping the farmshop running smoothly. We’re so grateful. 🙏
A few highlights from our trip:
✨ The Agrarian Kitchen® – completely inspiring and one of those truly memorable food experiences.
🍽️ Winter Feast at Dark M**o – Analiese gregory’s scallops in wakame butter and Adam James chicken, ginger & wallaby congee are dishes we’ll be talking about for a long time.
🌿Owen’s homemade gnocchi using Tassie Pink Eye potatoes from Hill Street Grocer
🌊 Pennicott Wilderness Journeys Tasman Island Cruise – the sea cliffs and rock formations were magnificent, and we even got to see some humpback whales!
🍄 Tasmania fungi
🐚 Fresh abalone at thecannerydunalley
🍻 A few well-earned beers at Cascade Brewery Co.
🦪 Bruny Island Oysters Tasmania and a stop at the bread fridge’s fridge
🎨 Museum of Old and New Art – could have spent many more hours wandering the exhibitions! In case you’re wondering, the mechanical set up is the exhibit “Cloaca” - a fully operational digestive system, ft. 💩 although maybe some Gully Gardens Barossa prunes would have helped it along 😉
Tasmania absolutely blew us away. The local produce, food experiences, passionate producers and breathtaking scenery made it a trip to remember.
