So… does leaner mince mean better? 🥩
Not necessarily. It really comes down to the meal you're making and what works for you.
Our Top Value Beef Mince has a higher fat content, which means more flavour and a juicier result. It’s perfect for burgers, meatballs and meals where you want that extra richness.
Our Premium Grade Beef Mince is leaner, and is Scott’s preference for making everyday meals like spag bol and tacos. Maybe that’s so he can have extra toppings! 😂
Fat isn't something we need to fear, it is more calorie-dense, so if you're tracking calories, it's worth considering the fat content of the mince you're choosing.
Overall, there isn't a “better” mince, just a mince that’s better suited for the meal you're making.
