🍊❄️ Winter Dinner Rescue ❄️🍊

Simply pop it all in the slow cooker before work and come home to a warm, tender dinner the whole family will love.
🍊 Slow Cooker Orange Beef
Ingredients
* 1kg chuck steak, diced
* 2 oranges (zest and juice)
* 2 carrots, sliced
* 2 celery stalks, sliced
* 1 brown onion, diced
* 3 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1 cup (250ml) beef stock
* 2 tbsp tomato paste
* 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* 1 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp dried thyme
* 1 bay leaf (optional)
* Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Place carrots, celery, onion and garlic into the slow cooker.
2. Add beef on top.
3. Zest one orange and add the zest to the slow cooker.
4. Juice both oranges and pour over the beef.
5. Add stock, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, honey, thyme, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
6. Stir gently to combine.
7. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
8. Remove bay leaf and gently pull apart the beef with two forks.
9. Serve with mashed potato, rice or crusty bread.
🍊 The oranges add a beautiful sweetness and depth to the sauce without overpowering the beef.
