There is a real feel-good factor to shopping at your local farmers’ market. Not only are you supporting small-scale farmers and local agriculture (rather than big multi-nationals), but you get the freshest produce with nutrients in tact as it has not been stored in cold rooms and shipped half-way around the country. Like these just-harvested organic carrots (dirt and all) from Roseberry Growers, which will be available along with much more at Bangalow tomorrow morning.
