Kombu Wholefoods opened in Bellingen on the Mid North Coast of NSW on 26th September 2004. Kombu is a large, affordable and friendly grocery and produce store. There is a focus on regional and organic products, with over 300 regional lines available in store. Partners Lowanna and Kevin run Kombu as a social enterprise where environmental and social impacts of the business (including the products w

e sell) is considered equally as important as the usual financial considerations. To that end they also run the business along not-for-profit lines with profits at the end of the year going back into the business and into the wider community.
