We’re Hiring: Butcher Shop Assistant
📍 Location: 73 Mackie rd, Bentleigh East
🕒 Hours: Full-Time/Part-Time

About the Job:
We’re a busy local butcher shop looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team. You don’t need to be a qualified butcher – we’re after someone who’s happy to learn, enjoys dealing with people, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What you’ll be doing:
• Serving customers with a smile
• Packing, wrapping, and labeling meat products
• Keeping the counter and prep area clean and tidy
• Helping with stock rotation and restocking fridges
• Taking orders and giving basic product advice
• Assisting the butchers when needed

What we’re looking for:
• Friendly and confident with customers
• Good attention to detail and hygiene
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Some retail or food handling experience is a bonus, but not required
• Comfortable working around raw meat
