I make this for nearly every occasion at our place... we LOVE it... our guests LOVE it and it's super super easy! Added bonus is our neighbours have a fantastic lemon tree which they allow us to take as many as we like :-)

Are you one of the lucky ones who have a tree full of lemons or have inherited a bag from a kind friend or colleague? Make lemonade in 2 seconds with this recipe from The Basic Cookbook. How do you like to use up your lemon stash?

2-3 lemons, unpeeled, cut into halves, pips removed
1000g water
100g caster sugar
10 ice cubes

1. Place lemons, half the water and sugar into the mixing bowl and crush 2 secs/speed 10
2. Add remaining 500g water, strain through simmering basket and add ice cubes. Enjoy :)
