đź“Ť 3 businesses in 1, located in beautiful Berry, NSW. We produce more than 200 varieties of Conserves, Condiments, Pickles, Chutneys & Sauces as well as handcraft old fashioned confectionaries and chocolates.

The Dairy Bar at The Treat Factory produces fresh gelato from South Coast Dairy milk produced in the pastures adjacent. Our carbon footprint is measured in metres not miles. Try our milkshakes and sundaes made from local dairy produce while reading about our local dairy farmers. Tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks available. The Dairy Bar is open M-F 8am-4:30pm and 9:30-4:30 weekends. The Treat Factory Warehouse stocks a range of Australian flours, nuts, spices, dried & glaced fruit, legumes and other specialised cooking ingredients and bakeware. Restaurants, cafes, chefs, bakers and cake decorators are encouraged to register their business for a 15% trade discount.

A winter weekend in Berry is looking pretty good.

The Berry Markets are on, the Winter Wine Festival is happening, and we’ve teamed up with our friends at Silos Estate to create a little taste of the region with our new Dinner Party Treats gift bag.

Inside you’ll find Sticky Wicket from Silos Estate alongside some of our favourite handcrafted treats including Choc Cherries, Chilli Chocolate and Marinated Baby Figs. The best sneaky indulgence for after dinner.

Collect your gift bag from The Treat Factory, then make sure you head out to Silos Estate to enjoy the vineyard views, sample their award-winning wine. Keep your eyes out for an alpaca or two.

One of the best things about Berry is that you can spend an entire day discovering local producers, wineries, cafes, markets and hidden gems, all just minutes apart.

We're often asked what's coming up next, so here's the latest round of chocolate experiences at The Treat Factory.

These are the sessions where kids leave covered in sprinkles and everyone goes home with something they've made themselves.

A few favourites are back, and we've also added some weekday sessions. So if you're local, visiting the South Coast, or simply looking for an excuse to catch up with a friend and do something a little different, we'd love to see you.

Make your own Rocky Road, create a giant freckle, build a box of handmade chocolates, or dip a selection of delicious treats. No experience needed — just bring your sweet tooth.

If you've been meaning to visit Berry, this is a pretty good excuse.
While you're here, wander through The Treat Factory, enjoy a handcrafted gelato from The Dairy Bar, stock up on Maxwell's Treats condiments and gourmet goodies, and make a day of it.

A slightly different morning at today for

TV cameras, rolling mist across the vineyard, alpacas wandering around and giant chocolate speckles happening live on air… all before 9am.

Huge thanks to Silos for inviting us to your stunning property, Berry really turned it on this morning.

The green theme wasn’t planned… but here we are 💚

New bars rolling through the chocolate room this week.

Matcha Raspberry — creamy Belgian chocolate with raspberry crumble through it.
Dubai Pistachio — crunchy pistachio filling, milk chocolate and absolutely no restraint.

We’ve also added Matcha White Hot Chocolate Stirring Spoons to the shelves and the Dairy Bar menu. Probably the most decadent way to warm up while visiting Berry at the moment.

And while everyone’s distracted by green chocolate… the old fashioned preserves are still lining the shelves, made the way grandma probably would’ve approved of. Maybe we should of talked about Green Tomato Pickles 🤣

Made out here in the old creamery, surrounded by dairy paddocks, gelato churns and too many chocolate ideas.

But behind the scenes, Maxwell’s Treats produces Australia’s largest ranges of gourmet condiments made right here in the Shoalhaven.

Today’s job: another custom bottling run of flavoured oil moving through the kitchen.

Cold weather, warm chocolate and a little bit of indulgence.

Our hot chocolate stirring spoons are made right here in the old creamery at The Treat Factory — rich chocolate designed to melt slowly into warm milk for proper hot chocolate.

Milk chocolate marshmallow, matcha white chocolate, strawberry, caramel, dark chocolate and white chocolate… because one flavour was never going to be enough

Walk into The Treat Factory and it smells like warm chocolate, sugar and childhood memories.

Behind the glass, the chocolate room is always moving — moulding chocolates, piping fresh centres and wrapping ribboned boxes while visitors wander the shelves deciding which old favourite they’re taking home.

Orange cream lips, strawberry creams, handcrafted chocolates, fudge and the kind of treats people haven’t seen since they were kids…

If you’re exploring the Shoalhaven, taking the scenic route along the Grand Pacific Drive or planning a weekend on the South Coast, come and see the chocolate being made while you shop.
