📍 3 businesses in 1, located in beautiful Berry, NSW. We produce more than 200 varieties of Conserves, Condiments, Pickles, Chutneys & Sauces as well as handcraft old fashioned confectionaries and chocolates.

The Dairy Bar at The Treat Factory produces fresh gelato from South Coast Dairy milk produced in the pastures adjacent. Our carbon footprint is measured in metres not miles. Try our milkshakes and sundaes made from local dairy produce while reading about our local dairy farmers. Tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks available. The Dairy Bar is open M-F 8am-4:30pm and 9:30-4:30 weekends. The Treat Factory Warehouse stocks a range of Australian flours, nuts, spices, dried & glaced fruit, legumes and other specialised cooking ingredients and bakeware. Restaurants, cafes, chefs, bakers and cake decorators are encouraged to register their business for a 15% trade discount.

We mixed, poured and loaded Rocky Road all day before finishing with a private birthday Chocolate Experience for a fantastic group.

There was plenty of creativity, lots of laughs and some seriously impressive chocolate creations. We hope you all had an amazing time creating and celebrating with us!

A little piece of Berry history. 🤎

These wonderful photos, kindly shared by the Berry Historical Society, capture the early days of the old Berry Central Butter Factory—now home to The Treat Factory and The Dairy Bar.

For more than 30 years, we've had the privilege of calling this historic building home. It's incredible to think that over a century ago, dairy farmers arrived here by horse and cart, delivering milk and cream from across the district. Today, the old creamery continues its story, welcoming visitors to discover handcrafted chocolates, gourmet foods and a slower pace of country life.

If you enjoy uncovering Berry's history, make sure you visit the Berry Historical Society. Their collection of photographs, stories and artefacts is well worth exploring and offers a fascinating glimpse into the people and places that shaped our town.

Busy weekends, school holidays and long weekends are always better with great people.

Here are three of the friendly faces you’ll often see at The Dairy Bar. In the middle is one of our wonderful cooks, with two of our fantastic high school team members beside her, helping keep coffees flowing, gelato scooping and smiles coming, even on our busiest days.

We’re incredibly lucky to have a wonderful team, and these three are a big part of the warm welcome so many visitors remember.

Our family has been making marmalade with local fruit for generations. 🍊

My grandparents had a cumquat farm in Berry, and we still miss their beautiful homegrown cumquats. It’s a tradition we’d love to keep alive by continuing to make our marmalade with quality fruit grown right here in the Shoalhaven.

If you have a cumquat tree that’s producing more than you can use, we’d love to hear from you. We buy quality fruit and are happy to swap for Maxwell’s Treats goodies too.

💬 Does anyone else remember the old cumquat orchards around Berry? Or do you have a tree in your backyard that’s loaded with fruit? We’d love to hear your stories.
