Yalara Hydrogardens We grow a number of delicious varieties of hydroponic lettuce all year round. Yalara Hydrogardens has been owned and operated by the Cowie family since 1994.

We take great pride in the fresh produce we grow all year round and our aim is to increase supply to a wider consumer base and potentially export this nutritious vegetable that we grow.

Our Story

Yalara Hydrogardens Biddeston has been owned and operated by The Cowie family since 1994. It produces 4 varieties of hydrponic lettuce, all year round.

We employ local staff and our fresh produce is harvested and packed daily outdoors and transported by refrigerated trucks to a major supermarket chain DC, for distribution to its many stores.

Yalara Hydrogardens is a small business, 10 minutes from the Wellcamp Airport, managed by a dedicated husband and wife team, supported by their children and loyal staff who are committed to delivering a quality product.
