For 26 years, Arthur the Fish Man has consistently driven the same route every morning to Safcol on London Road for the seafood auctions.

Today marked the first day at the new premises, evoking mixed emotions, but what an amazing premise it is.

However, it was an honour to be the first fishmonger to have brought the first box of fish on the scale (Coorong Mullet); look at the smile on his face.

Safcol holds a dear place in our hearts, as three generations of our family have bought fish there - our grandfather, our father, and Arthur himself.

Love what we do and our small family business. ❤️
