Welcome to Hawkes Farm! Located in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, Hawkes Farm Gate is a family run business that sells produce grown on site, as well as products from local growers. The aim of the store is to bring together great produce from around the Peninsula. A lot of our suppliers grow some of the best produce in Australia, but do not sell direct to the retail market. Our shop is a showc

ase of the magnificent work that the Peninsula growing community has to offer, and supplemented by the Melbourne Market so you can get just about everything you need here. We're open every day 8:00 – 5:00. Closed Christmas Day

From Farmer Barry's Great, Great Grandfather (farming Warren Rd, Mordialloc, circa 1840's) to his son Richard and Grandson, Rupert, there's a special Fatherly bond at the heart of Hawkes farming.

With innovation in every one of the seven generations, sustainable farming methods have always been passed down from Hawkes Father to son.

Which is why we open doors on Father's Day weekend with enormous pride. Joining us are families who work together with Hawkes Farm; Johan and his eldest son Alexander (Peninsula Pantry) will be making Father's Day Vanilla Slices and Rhiannon and Owen are pouring their Rhino Tiger Bear w**es and Yuzu Spritz.

And our Hawkes Team – the bigger family – will be serving Kransky Hawkes Dogs, hot chips, loaded potatoes, Little Rebel Coffee Roastery, Johnny ripe and The Hidden Kitchen pies, and all our best of local produce.

"One of the most special moments [of 2025] was bringing Mum to our market stall at Hawkes Farm," said June.

"She had an absolute blast meeting you all, sharing stories, laughing, and proudly telling our journey. Seeing her connect with so many of you was a reminder of why we do what we do."

"Our story began in 1978, when my dear Mother created the recipe for our Famous Mild Chilli Crisp Oil. That recipe is the heart of our business. From there, I’ve been working on our other creations — drawing inspiration from Australia’s beautiful land, incredible produce, and the flavours that bring people together around the table."
