🛒 Market Update: Fresh, Full & Spring-Perfect! 🌱
It’s a great week for veggies. Our Sydney Basin growers are thriving despite those sandy soils! We’re seeing a beautiful variety of Asian greens, celery, kale, and fresh herbs.
🌿 Spring veggies are in full swing: asparagus, baby cucumbers, and capsicums are all fantastic buys.
🍅 Tomatoes (all varieties) are still great quality and value.
🥬 Celery & kale are crisp, local, and abundant. Add them to soups or stir-fries for extra goodness!
🌟 Rockmelons & honeydew from Far North QLD are the picks of the week! Sweet and juicy! 🍈
💡 Leave melons out on the bench for a day or two before cutting to boost flavour.
🥭 Mangoes are at their best and now a size up (size 18 = bigger fruit, same price!)
🍑 Stone fruit is starting to arrive but still a little underripe. We’ll wait for the perfect batch 🍑
