🌿 BYFIELD MARKETS ARE ON TOMORROW! 🌿

The countdown is almost over! Tomorrow is market day in Byfield and we can’t wait to see everyone come along for a great day with family, friends and our wonderful local community. ❤️

With 70+ stalls, live music, plenty of food, local makers, goodies, and lots happening for the kids, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And with Father’s Day just around the corner, it’s a pretty good excuse to come hunting for something special too! 🎶🛍️

But before we get there, we want to say one more HUGE THANK YOU to the volunteers and local businesses who have helped make these markets possible.

The Byfield State School P & C has a wonderful online Father's Day Raffle running at the moment. Come and grab some tickets this Sunday at the market. The market is the only place you can pay CASH for tickets.

We're excited to welcome Evie, a 10-year-old student from Byfield State School to her first little live gig happening this Sunday at the Byfield Market.

Having picked up the guitar just 12 months ago, Evie has thrown herself into singing and acoustic covers with curiosity and heart. She loves exploring songs across different styles and bringing her own take to the music.

She'll be playing two short sets and supporting our other artists for the day, so come along and enjoy a relaxed, feel-good moment with her.

11.00am - 1.00pm Aliza Ruth and Daryl Smith

We would also like to say a big thank you to the Livingstone Shire Council for making a contribution to our music acts for this year - every little bit helps us achieve our fundraising goals and offer these wonderful experiences at this event.

🐐 FREE PETTING ZOO AT THE BYFIELD MARKET SUNDAY 30th AUGUST 8am-1pm🐥

We have some very exciting news! Thanks to the incredible generosity of three local Byfield businesses, Eden Bann Cuties will be bringing their petting zoo to our market - and it will be completely FREE for everyone to enjoy all day! 🎉

So much on offer this year at the Byfield Markets. We would like to welcome back the beautiful Aliza Ruth supported by Daryl Smith.

Aliza is a singer/songwriter from Yeppoon. Aliza started learning the guitar in November 2021 as a way of introducing music back into her life after a long hiatus. A former high school English teacher, Aliza has a love for writing and quickly progressed to merging her thought provoking words with smooth, soothing melodies. Aliza uses her music as a modality of self-healing through creative expression. Her folk-style music is inspired by nature, love, family, and healing. Aliza is accompanied by Mt Morgan, cover artist Daryl Smith, who enhances her original music with added beauty.

They will be closing out the market from 11am - 1pm. Stay tuned for more updates on what is happening this year and see you all Sunday 30th August 8am - 1pm.

Did you know the Byfield Markets is a big fundraiser for the Byfield State School? This year all the funds raised are being put towards a new playground, this has been a goal for many year's and we are very close to making this happen.

Another fundraiser that we have happening for the school right now is our online 100's board.

We are so excited to announce our first music act for the Byfield Market, Radiata.

Radiata are a duo (sometimes trio or quartet) on the Cap Coast playing surf-garage jazz, trans-tasman retrowave & bossa gypsy dub. Performing at pine plantations or for pub crustaceans, book Radiata for grounded grooves on any dance or forest floor.
