🌞🔥🌞 Hot weather information for CLEAVER Salumi Cabinet Owners

We all like to sit under an air conditioner in extreme hot weather...even your CLEAVER!

But if your CLEAVER is not protected from this hot weather (ie in a shed, garage or anywhere the temperature is pushing 30°C+), then you can take the following steps to improve the efficiency and reduce the impact on the meat insude your cabinet.

- add 1L of cold water to the humidifier at the bottom of your cabinet.
- soak the humidifier filters and/or turn upside down to ensure they are fully hydrated.
- shift your cabinet away from any west facing wall or window without a blind.
- move your cabinet away from the wall to allow extra airflow to rear condenser coil fan.
- check there is no debris or dust affecting the efficiency of the condenser coil fan.
- if you are curing (not dry ageing), temporary increase the temperature setting to 13°C (reduce once weather cools).
- cover the glass door with a heavy blanket for further insulation.

Or you can move your cabinet to its rightful pride of place, next to your TV, and pretend you are watching the cricket, but really eyeing off your meat!

Everything is crafted entirely in house starting with sourcing quality free range female pork, to the brining process using our suhner injector, then on to our netting & smoking only using the finest beechwood smoking chips.

This is a culmination of all the hard work our team has put in not just this year but the past 21 years.
