Honey Garlic Baked Salmon

A perfect Easter seafood dish that’s simple and full of flavour.

Ingredients
• Fresh salmon fillets
• 2 tbsp honey
• 2 garlic cloves
• Lemon juice
• Olive oil
• Salt & pepper

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Mix honey, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil.

Place salmon on a lined tray and brush with the mixture.

Bake for 12–15 minutes until perfectly cooked.

Serve with fresh greens or salad.

Fresh salmon available in store.

Simple Pan-Fried Fish (Perfect Every Time)

Ingredients:
• Fresh fillets
• Olive oil
• Salt & pepper
• Lemon

Method:

Pat fish dry and season lightly

Heat pan with oil until hot (it should shimmer, not smoke)

Place fish skin-side down and don’t move it

You’ll know it’s ready to flip when:
• The edges turn opaque
• The skin releases easily from the pan
• The flesh has changed colour about halfway up

Flip once and cook briefly on the other side

It’s ready when:
• The flesh flakes easily
• It’s just opaque all the way through
• It feels firm but still juicy

Finish with a squeeze of lemon and serve straight away.

Fresh fish doesn’t need much — just good technique and quality ingredients.
