A low key Pizza Night in Castlemaine on Friday, but as Dale says, we 'pushed the boat out'. I had some leftover slow-cooked lamb shoulder, so we did some souvlaki style pizzas. One was a simple lamb on yoghurt-tahini base with mint and lemon. The other used the same lamb with a spicy chilli tomato passata with mint, yoghurt and chilli honey. Both yum! Finished off with leftover banana bread pudding with stewed apple and pears w/ cinnamon and double cream. I'm all about reducing food waste and using up leftovers when I can.
We are having a break from markets while I recover from an injury, but we'll be back serving delicious meals and catering soon!
