Donkeys of my own have always been on my wish list, so hubby was relieved when our lovely new neighbours turned out to be just as animal crazy as me… and came with these two cuties! ♥️

They greet me every morning with the kind of enthusiasm you could only wish for - it’s impossible not to start the day smiling. 🥹🫏

We thought it was about time you got to know some of the feathered crew here at Osborne Family Farm 🐓🙌🏻

So we’re starting a new Employee of the Month series, introducing you to all of our wonderful chickens, roosters, ducks… and a few new additions along the way 👀🐓🦆

First up is Matilda — and after happily adopting 8 babies that weren’t even hers, raising the lot of them AND continuing to provide THE BEST eggs, the woman deserves some recognition. 😂👏

Our little incubator babies are doing so well and absolutely loving life out in the farmyard.

They spend their days free ranging, exploring, getting into everything and following each other around causing trouble 😂

When we took in a guinea pig needing a new home, we definitely didn’t realise he was an entire male… 😳😂

We figured it out pretty quickly when these little surprise potatoes started appearing! 🥰🥰

It looks like dad had been VERY busy 😅!

All of our males — including our busy baby daddy 😂 — will be desexed when they’re old enough to make sure there are no more accidental litters or overbreeding.

And every single one of these surprise babies has a safe, loving forever home right here with us. 🤎🐹

We may not have planned them… but they’re not going anywhere! 🥰
